The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees including defence personnel liable to frequent transfer was first approved in November 1962, by the Government of India. Kendriya Vidyalaya is a pace-setting and trend-setting institution under the Department of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. It is a CIVIL sector school started in the year 2007 having Balvatika 3, Classes I to X (double section) and XI-XII Science and Commerce stream (one section).
The new reform policies adopted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has given a new lease of life to Kendriya Vidyalaya and today its mosaic has the hues of human values.
